Flash Animation Work

I’ve been busy working on a wide array of different Flash projects. Anything from creating a custom UI for a video player, to creating an entire Flash presentation for Celebrity Fight Night or Merchants Go Green, to developing and integrating Flash elements into a website design, to just making a design flow. I’ve been so busy in fact I’ve been neglecting my own website and portfolio (the story of the Cobbler’s shoes). So, just to stay current, I will try to give you an update on some of the projects that I’ve been working on lately.

Flip-book Presentations

PiXELWiT has a great page-flip template that she/he has put together and has for sale at a very reasonable price. This page-flip Flash file is, in my opinion, just as great or better (for it’s simplicity and ease of use) as any of the much more expensive options out there. I have created several spin-offs based off the original template, programming features such as a zoom ability, preloader, and of course the customized interface style. Check out these examples:

Interactive Welcome Packages

A client that I worked with recently wanted to create an interactive version of a booklet that they sent out to their customers. I was given criteria and the physical booklet as references and based on those I created an interactive version using Flash. This project also included the addition of music, sound effects, and voice-overs. Fun right? They were so pleased with the results that they stopped printing the physical copies and just went with the digital version I had created for them. It was referred to by the client internally as the “fancy-schmancy welcome package” (which I always took as a compliment). The package was rebranded while maintaining the original functionality. Examples:

Flash headers, navigation, and elements

This is my umbrella category for all the miscellaneous animations that I have created and spread throughout the net. Some examples range from some “morsels” that I created during my internship at 5 Pints Productions that can be found in many of the pages in their site. Also I have worked with several of the products that Flashloaded.com sells (such as TN2 Slideshow, their FLV player, and several others). I have worked these elements into several web projects, usually with a unique branded user-interface. Here are a few examples of those:

I’ve created, developed, and adapted quite a few Flash headers for websites. Some integrate video players —others navigation. Have fun looking around.

That’s about all I can gather right now. I will keep compiling info and other recent Flash animation work and post it with any helpful information that I can think to include. If you’ve got any questions or comments please contact me. Thanks for looking.
